Red Barn Pasture

The Red Barn began life about 100 years ago for use by cattle and retains the feel of a working ranch barn. As of September 2013 it can accommodate up to 5 horses on the newly remodelled south side. Renovation of the north side is under way. Horses at the Red Barn rotate though 12 pastures on a total of about 15 acres. If the pasture grass is not sufficient, hay and alfalfa pellets are available at the barn. When they arrive each horse is assigned their own pen to use at feeding time so there is no competition for food. Tenants normally work together to feed and move animals between pastures. Nearby, the 140 by 250 arena is nearly complete. Fencing is a combination of New Zealand smooth wire with tape added to electric strands for visibility and some legacy barbed wire. This barn has the advantage of being very convenient to the main road. There are a variety of trails leading from this barn, ranging from an easy 10 minute loop to challenging multi-hour rides.

Price: $200 per month per horse
